JUST ONE COMMENT

Someone please tell Gabbert that the defensive linemen do not have TASERS! Why is he so afraid to get hit?

THIS IS A MUST LISTEN

Peter King of SI talks with Mr. Kahn the new owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
This is a heart warming story of "The American Dream"

After hearing this you will get the feeling that this man will be really good for the City and Team.  It's like an ultimate fan becoming an owner.

I REALLY LIKE THIS MAN MR. KAHN

I saw this introduction of Mr. Kahn on Jaguars.com and was very impressed
by what he had to say.  He's very smart and knows what needs to be done to Brand this team etc.
check if out.

DESPERATE TIMES

Jaguars players on the IR list line up for therapy at Everbank Filed

It sure  is desperate times for the Jaguars. the only good thing is thee is another line of the other side of the stadium of replacement players checking in.

No one knows where these players came from or who they are. They are the Great Unknowns.  Strange names and even stranger plays. I guess the jaguars have started there off season try outs a little early.  Maybe this will benefit us in the long run?

How can you find blame for losing so bad when you don't even know who is playing.  Sure we can blame the wide receivers. We do know them. We know their names and we know they are no good. PERIOD. We know some of the offensive linemen and we also know their names and know that they are bad too.

The Defensive line we know we know their names and we know that they are good but they can't play 45 minutes out of every game. In the secondary we know Landry and he is good but all the rest are WHO'S DAT where did he come from.

Talk about Green Bay and Pittsburgh and teams that are consistent and have a cohesiveness.  We need this in the worst way. Players have to be unselfish like MJD and give all that got and if they have a good year don't ask for too much money and realize that in the long run staying with the team will play more in so many ways. Don't jump the boat after one or two good years.

My hope is that out of this group of rejects, waived and replacement players will come something good. If we can get only a few that can start or be ready next year we will be ahead of the other teams by having tested players to pull form.

GOOD LUCK MR. KAHN

Good Luck Mr. Kahn. This will be a big decision and no matter what you do there will be critics.  I know that a Coach isn't everything and I have said that players make the Coach.

If there is ONE thing of major importance it is this is a business. Being a business Brand Name is very important! The more media attention the more the brand is remembered. A name coach may give that in short term, but in long term winning is more of an attention getter.

Wayne has said that in 30 years we will be like Green Bay.  Excise me, but that is very poor thinking. Who has 30 years to wait for a team to be good and draw fans consistently? Not us ! Not Jacksonville and I believe not you Mr. Kahn.

Some one had to know and trust your bumpers etc. in-order for them to sell and be recognized all over the world.....and so it is with a football team.
Selecting a coach is like selecting a CEO. He has to have a vision and be able to manage other coaches and players  In the case of the Jaguars I am not too sure that the GM is strong enough or good enough. Maybe Gene should have a chance to prove himself but I'm not convinced because he has been involved in too many bad choices in the past.

A name GM is not always safe either just like a name Head Coach. Look at Miami with the " Big Tuna"/

HEAD COACH CHOICES

I really like Mel Tucker and I hope he gets a chance. He's a down to earth kind of guy and that's good with me.
I think that the players want to play for him and that is a lot of the battle.

I know everyone wants a winning coach with a record, but that doesn't guarantee anything. Look at Joe Gibbs for example.
Take the Jags this year was coaching the result of a good defense or was it players?

Yes we need good coaches but for a head coach it is not so much what he teaches but how well he motivates and leads. He's like the CEO and the supervisors are the assistant coaches.

Give him a chance to choose assistants and try for a few years. Wholesale change is not really good right now and I'm afraid of what will happen if some big name comes in. Take the Redskins with Shanahan as another example.

Gene Smith has a new contract for 3 years so Mel should follow suit, otherwise there will be a conflict with any new coach (of repute) and we don't need that.

Look at Pittsburgh they keep people in the fold and we should learn from that. Look at the good years of Dallas, New England, NY, and others. They built and kept a core of players.

Remember we jumped to quick to fire Tom C. and look what we got.

If Gene Smith was to leave also I might change my mind on Mel, but I don't see that happening.

I don't want a political correct person as head coach. I want a common sense guy that gets what he needs from players and coaches.

Believe me I WANT TO WIN, and I have sat there for too many years hoping to have some fun winning games. I feel that keeping Mel Tucker is the best answer at this time.

FINALLY A GOOD WIN AT HOME.

In the rain of Everbank Filed I had something to smile about.

 Want to buy some fish?

This was not a day to diet. Before the game Sue (see photo) and I had a Sloppy Joe and then later we enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich. You have to eat well on these cold and rainy days you know!
 Sue

The day started off pretty good. It was windy and chilly but no rain and the crowd was ready for a win.
My friends in Row C were feeling goo and I got them to cheer a little.

Charle from Row B was dressed for the occasion , REALLY?  Charley is from near Warren OH and I'm from Oh too but I don't want to catch a cold.
 Then it got ugly.
We got behind by 14 points, it got colder, darker and we thought we were in for another miserable day of losing.
BUT....after another 3 and out we punted and Montell Owens destroyed the punt return guy and a Jag special teams player ran it in for the score. that started the Whole thing.  All of a sudden we were ahead 24 to 14 and there was no looking back as we went on to win 41 to 14.
Gabbert who I have been down on had a great game. He started stepping into his passes and looked like the guy we were expecting all year.

Of course out Main Man MJD had a record setting day surpassing Fred Taylor with the most TD:s for the Jags ever. Here's a video of MJD scoring in our end zone.  COOL!

CHANGING THE IMAGE

As you can see I have replaced the title image to make it look more threatening, just like I would like the team to appear to opponents.  The image I had was too pretty and serene like from a zoo.

Most of the photos I found on the Internet were just to docile. Like this these below.
OR THIS ONE SMELLING A FLOWER
AND THEN THIS ONE REMINDED ME OF OF
THE TEAM LAST MONDAY NIGHT
OR THIS ONE THAT WAS POSING FOR A GLAMOUR SHOT.
OF COURSE CUTE WAS OUT

I JUST COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ADULT LIKE

I THOUGHT ABOUT THIS ONE FOR AWHILE, BUT IT WAS THE WRONG COLOR AND MAYBE IT WAS JUST AN OVERGROWN HOUSE CAT...BUT SCARY TO BE SURE

BY THE WAY HERE'S THIS CAT'S TRAINER

THIS ONE HAD PROMISE BUT THE TOUNGE WAS THE WRONG COLOR

THIS ONE WAS LOOKED HUNGRY LIKE I WISH THE TEAM WAS, BUT MAYBE A LIT LE TOO WEAK

I EVEN THOUGHT MAYBE " FA,PISE JAGUAR LADY"
 WOULD SERVE THE  PURPOSE

THE ONLY OTHER SERIOUS CONTENDER WAS THIS ONE.

MAYBE I TAKE THIS TO PHOTO SHOP AND REPLACE THE MAN WITH A FOOTBALL PLAYER?

GOT ANY OTHER IDEAS? LET ME GO TO MY FRIEND AND SEE WHAT HE HAS ON HIS MIND.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND GO JAGUARS!

AND BTW
LOOK FOR ME IN THE NORTH END ZONE I WILL BE WEARING MY NEWEST JAGUARS GEAR

OH YEAH !

YES I DO HAVE A LOT OF TIME ON MY HANDS

OUCH!

I had the first laugh before the game but this guy had the last laugh as the Chargers put a real hurting on us. OUCH!

OK so what went wrong? Everything. Well now that I have had a day to reflect on the loss I can find a few positives, very very few. Gabbert had a few good passes, but the ones that he threw when he looked like he was afraid are the ones that really bothered me.  The clumsy awkward ones that went into the ground or missed completely make me wonder about him. Off balance, off the back foot, etc. are not a very good sign.  I never want to see someone  fail so I hope he can get some good teaching and become good.

The real problem was our Defense which broke down. Excuse or not we had a lot of starters out.....a lot. So I'll give them a break. they have been the only bright spot for us this year.

I had 4 family members joining me at the game which was great. We did the tailgate thing and had a good time despite the score.  The score?  Never mind I already put it behind me.  Hopefully you can too and be there next Sunday as we play Tampa.   Go Jags!

THINGS I HOPE MEL TUCKER CAN CHANGE

Welcome to Mel and I believe he will do a good job. As I read people he seems to be really into the game and a good people person. As compare to the political correct Del Rio and Norv Turner. I am still upset with Norv for ruining my redskins and now he has gone and done the same to San Diego the same way that Jack did it to my Jags.
What! FIRED?
Oh no not me too!

Look for these two to run for political office somewhere.

Are all coaches going to be vanilla soft soaped dopes? Is this really what you want NFL? Give me a coach that is alive and spits on the ground and maybe even on reporters. WHERE HAS THE PASSION  GONE?  Are the fans the only ones left to raise a s fuss?

Oh well on with the story.

MEL TUCKER

Mel if by some chance you read this....yeah like that will happen..I beg of you to make these few changes.

1. Please , Please don't call for a run up the middle for 1 yard to start almost every series. Go back and review stats, or ask the fans. We sit in the stands and call the plays out loud and if we know the play surely the defense knows it. Please 9 years of this is enough. I almost get ill when I see it happen. It is so predictable that every series starts with this play it is not funny. Take how many series you have run in 9 years and then that is how many plays the Jags have WASTED!  Can any team afford to do that? NO of course NOT Also I am not buying into that it keeps the defense honest. We don't care if the defense is honest we want them to be confused. Did I make my point?  If this doesn't change look into the North End Zone and watch me throwing-up at the beginning of each series.

2. Find receivers that will fight for the ball. I don't know how you can motivate the ones we have because I believe you either have this instinct or you don't. I have seen too many times where there is little to no effort to try for the ball. We really have not had a good receiver since Jimmy Smith. There is a certain mind set lacking from this corp of receivers for a long time now.

3. Be true to your self Mel. Don't let protocol dictate how to coach. Fans know the game very well and we all in some way pseudo coaches. We would sit players who don't perform, we would scold players regardless of their stature.  I believe you have the right mix to be both teacher and authoritarian.

NEW OWNER OF JAGUARS

New Jacksonville  Jaguars owner and his wife

Mr. Kahn who is the great nephew of Salvador Dali pictured below would not disclose his middle name; which I was hoping is not REGGIE.

SHSHID  R. KAHN  gave me the first  exclusive interview while dining a Sonny's.
We enjoyed a pulled pork bar-b q sandwich together and his wife had ribs and corn muffins.
Shahid said he is determined to keep the team in Jacksonville and will try hard to acquire the taste and character of a southerner. He plans to buy 2 pick-up trucks, he's rich you know, one for him and one for his wife. both trucks will be used and show much wear in order to fit in. I suggested that he have duals with loud mufflers and a tool box kit added to his and his wife's should be more plain.

Mr. Kahn said that he was going to cut his hair and shave off his mustache also in order to look more like a जच्क्सोंविल्ले He thought maybe a mullet would be good but I said they had gone out of style even here. I told him the best thing to do would to buy a second hand dirty ओले ball cap to wear while driving around town.

EXCLUSIVE !  MR. KAHN HAS ALREADY CHOSEN HIS NEW HEAD COACH. Being a compassionate person he is going to hire and out of work person for the job. the next head coach will be the famous Baboo of Seinfeld fame who is from his home country and has not job since Jerry and Elaine screwed up his restaurant  business.

After finishing his sandwich and macaroni and cheese he left saying I'll see ya all later.

LOL    I really hope the best for this family and a sincere welcome to Jacksonville which is a great city and has great people. From everything I have heard he will be good for this City and the Jaguars.
