COMING TOGETHER

Even with the loss I feel that this team is coming together. You can feel it. I was still hoping that they would pull it off and I really felt that they could.
I have not been a Garrard fan but I feel that they have started letting him be himself. You can just feel them helping each other and caring for one another.
I for one is starting to believe in this team. THEY CAN DO IT.  I'm even starting to believe in JDR too.
Two problems I had with the play. One I told the TV cover Boss. I just knew he was going to get the ball, because he was the only guy that was getting open and he was mostly uncovered on the line. OUCH, If I could see it why couldn't the coaches or players??? The other thing is that they do have to work on protection or maybe schemes would be a better word for those must throw times. The max protect works good at times but if you use it all the time teams find a way to collapse it. The Jags have to come up with more formations like spread them out and call QB draw or pitch.

R E S P E C T

We played a good game and I think we got some long due respect. Don't hang your heads fans or players. We know now we can play with the best and we are not out of the race. 

Next week we have to play well again and even better because it's a conference game. We can and will handle the Titans and go on from there.

Garrard is going to make a believer out of me yet. I've been hard on him but couldn't find fault today.

WHAT A FINISH!

THIS IS THE REASON YOU GO TO THE GAME! What a game. Back and forth right to the end. Our guys didn't give up or give in. Our excellent kicker Scobe missed a field goal that could've won the game with about a minute and a half to go but our guys didn't give up and played good defense and then got a turn over.
Everyone was thinking OT but JDR must have told the team to go out swinging because they threw two passes and then with 3 SECONDS TO PLAY the HAIL MARY.
The pass was thrown to the corner of the North End Zone were my seat is and we all thought the DB was in position to catch it or bat it away. Well he batted it alright but not up in the air our of danger but low right to our Mike Thomas who secured the ball and walked right in.
WOW even double WOW. We in the North End Zone feel we never get enough action close to us but baby we got action this time.
The crowd went wild. I had never seen this much yelling and screaming at one of our games. Even the long field goal to beat the Colts earlier with only 5 seconds to go. It was strange to see the defensive players just frozen in time standing right where they were when it happened. Three of them just stood there for what seemed like a few minutes.

WELL DONE

DOWN GOES DALLAS DOWN GOES DALLAS  to borrow a boxing phrase.
There's no team I love to see lose more than the Cowboys and there's not team I like to see win more than The Jaguars.
I have been quite cynical and negative lately because of how the team is so up and then down. I just can't figure out which team will show up. I guess I'm not the best fan although I have been a season ticket holder since 99 when I moved here. I guess I just want a more steady performance. I think that is what gets me so negative.
Well I guess I should be more like these fans on the flight to Dallas. My hat is off to them and maybe I can learn from them.




Now for the game. I hate to take any shine off the victory but it just maybe that we played a very bad team. I'm surprised that the Cowboys played so bad. Maybe it is the OLine that people said are suspect. Maybe that's why they couldn't push the ball in at the end of the 2nd quarter?

Now I could look at the last two games the Cowboys lost and say maybe Madden has it right. Giants and Jaguars in the Super Bowl  Well we can dream can't we?
