Last nights preseason game was exciting and a lot of fun. Of course it's always fun to win and to win at home and to win coming back. The Jags fans have been hungry for a victory and who better to beat then the defending Super Bowl Chanps. The NY fans got quite quiet in the 4the quarter. That's always fun too.
The officials are always a target for their actions but last night it was more of a joke than anger at them. It started out as frustration etc. but turned to a laughing matter. The head official was a man quite old for what he was doing. It was very difficult to hear what he was saying. I think his dentures kept slipping out. You could heat the age to his voice. Maybe he was my age 72 ? if not then he had to be in his 60's .
It was fun and I made a lot of jokes about his age , but in the end that is quite a job for an older man. How old,,, I can't find out.
Gosh it's good to get a win. I was so happy to see Blaine do well. Everyone was also impressed with Palmer. He really looked sharp. If he keeps this up he maybe #2 soon. Jennings and Mike Thomas are two of my favorites that I have been waiting to come on. They both showed up last night.
