Sorry Jacksonville but the perfect fit is the fit that was destined to be but just not in JAX. 

Yes the perfect fir is Garrard and Tebow. Similar talents. Both are great running QB's and both can pass. Just as Tebow was used in Denver so Garrard shoul've been used in JAX. Both of them a threat to run along with MJD and a smart coach. They both would give a Defense a lot to think about.

Now in Miami all the coach has to do is come up with an option type offense and the defense will not know what to do. Will the QB's run? Will they pass? Will Tebow throw to the left and Garrard throw to the right? 

One of the best years that Garrard had was the year when Del Rio (oh how I hate to say that nam) half heartedly took the advise of Davids wife and tried to use Garrards talents more. Believe me this guy can run. Remember the two wins in Pittsburgh, well the play-off win came on 4th and 2 and David ran for about 20 yards to secure the win.

I wish the Jags would've done differently but now it's over and all we can do is hope for success for Miami and maybe watch a lot of their games. Maybe even go to some of the games. What the heck it isn't that far away.

JACKSONVILLE JAGUAR FAN

Just how many of the fans feel like this? 

Well for one, I do. I have been writing about how I feel about the Jaguars organization for a few years now. And just when I think things will change a VIRUS  of some type comes along and invades the minds of the top execs in the front office. Yes I'm afraid it has even hit our Hero Kahn who was thinking like a fan and like our Messiah when all of a sudden he was struck by this Virus that gives you low self esteem and makes you feel like you don't really belong in this league and wish that there was an NFL Dollar Store league where you would feel more comfortable. 

I thought today of how I would explain my feelings as a 12 year season ticket holding fan. Have you ever had family members that just refuse to better them selves? Do they act like they can't deserve anything better than what they have and are? They won't even consider being really good at something or even great? They always broke and always borrowing money knowing they will never pay you back. they live day to day not as a conservative but as a person who doesn't want to hope doesn't want to even try. 

You know what I'm talking about don't you? Well this is how I feel about being part of this dysfunctional family for all there year.  Unable to get through to them or really help them. I would like them to get some therapy. I try to build them up and encourage them. I even buy extra tickets to make them feel wanted. I take guest to the games I join their fan teams. I spread the news about their price plans. But alas to no avail. I'm always met by the criticism just like I would be if I tried to get a job for my lazy cousin. 

Jaguars stay out of the Dollar Store and trying shopping at Stein Mart

 or at least Target for goodness sakes.

UNCLE GENE IN SPOTLIGHT 

OK OK ALRIGHT already please! so the last post showed my negative side again. It's just that I am always so frustrated when we don't go for the very best in any situation and settle for someone less????

Are we poor? Do we have a self esteem problem? I can't figure it out. Our name never comes up when there is a really big name player available either in free agency or the draft. Have you noticed that?

Sometimes I think we are afraid to be rejected. Maybe Gene smith has been abused and has a rejection complex. I imagine Peyton Manning's reaction to a call from Gene. Peyton " ha ha ha ha ha you're kidding right Gene? Gene " No Pey we really want you here and are willing to pay you anything you want" Peyton " Oh come on gene enough with the jokes, You're a nice guy but Jacksonville? No way Dude I already am up to my ears in corn out here in Indy. Why would I consider a hcik town like Cowford anyway. " what the heck am I going to endorse in Jax? Boiled Peanuts?"

Ok now for Mr. robinson. Although he is a one year wonder at least that says he can do it. I hlpe he proves out

Henne is a good QB and maybe with anouther team and another chance he can be great.

I went back and looked at some more videos of Gabbert and I had to admit that he really can throw the ball and has good montion and strenght. So maybe he can be good or even great. I like the idea of compettion between the two.

Now for Uncle Gene. The good thing is the spotlight is really on him this year and not so much on others. That's the way it should be too. so Gene here's hoping you do good too.

I'VE BEEN WAITING

Well I have been waiting and hoping for something positive to report. I spent a lot of hours watching Jaguars.com for free agent news. I watched NFL Network thinking I might hear some Jag news of a good signing. Only to find info on facebook first and then on Jacksonville.com. That we went for less than the best players out there. Players that are big QUESTION MARKS.

What as fans have we done to deserve to get rejects and 2nd or 3rd rate players MAYBE.  What is wrong when you sign a guy who is a veteran and place him as a back-up to an Unknown Shrinking Violet?  LOOK OUT  here comes the Rush Gabbert HIDE.

And now Mr. Robinson (simms-walker, porter douglas sourad reggie) He's a show boat and I think he will be gone soon after he's busted for drugs or beating his girlfriend.

Jacksonville should not settle for 2nd best in anything. What have we fans done to deserve this kind of treatment? We have patiently sat here for years and years being abused by stupid play calling and stupid coaches and stupid GM's and a stupid owner.

Mr. Kahn do you know what it is like to sit here in the stands losing year after year feeling abused and knowing that the quality is just not there? It''s second rate at best and making the game day experience better is not going to help. WINNING IS THE ONLY ANSWER AND RESPECT FOR OUR TEAM.
