IN MOURNING

Need I say more?

Well I will, as usual I have a plan that will help the Offense, if they will listen to me.

Hopefully the OC will take my advise, that is if he reads the comments on the Jaguars.com

I have never thought of M. Lewis as a good tight end, maybe he is a good blocker but as a receiver he can't control his body. He's not able to tour and twist his body.

Therefor I would change him to full back where he could pass block and lead the blocks for our tail backs.

I have the solutions, but don't come crying to me if the coaching staff can not think outside the box.

If Del Rio could have thought outside the box we would have had a championship with David Garrad. Don't believe for a moment that the coaches know more than me or a lot of long time fans.

BLOWN AWAY!

I have been so blown away by the changes made to the Jaguars organization. Almost unbelievable. So many things that I have complained about on these pages are now coming about. Marketing, Branding, Feeding the Fans with news and videos etc. It's like Christmas to me.

If you are not excited about the changes and not excited to be part of A REAL NFL TEAM, then I guess you are not alive and most certainly not proud of what this organization is doing for this city.

Swallow your pride and your lazy backwoods life style and get with the winners Jacksonville and the Jaguars.

At this point all I can say is Thanks Mr. Kahn and it's such a pleasure to be a small part (season ticket holder) of such an up and coming progressive organization that will make us all proud to live in JAX.

I feel like I no longer have to beat the drum and try to urge people to come to games or convince owner-ship of changes needed to be a success. Mr. Kahn can do with out my help, and this humble site is not even close to having the class that the Jags now have.

FIELD PASS SUNDAY DEC. 22

What a day for football, it felt like summer. Actually it was a little too hot for football. All in all I guess I would rather be getting a tan than frostbitte.

My football buddy Sue Warren, owner of Sue's Cafe on Beach Blvd, near Southside, got me a field pass from a friend. It was good to be on the field with all the players and reporters etc. I met Sue years ago when she worked for the Cafe she now owns. She is a good friend of our whole family. When it appeared that I would not be able to drive Sue volunteered to pick me up and drive to and from the games. Thanks Sue.

One of the first observations I made from being on the field is the field now appears to be really big and the players are giants. When viewing from the stands the field and players look sort of small. Beleive me I felt like I was walking in the Land of Giants.

The first celebraty (locally that is) I saw was Jeff Lageman and sports announcer for Fox News channel 30 Brent Martineau.
. I made the decesion then to just talk to them instead of taking their photo. Beside Jeff was behind the net by the crossbar. I told him how I think he is really doing good in his online programs etc.
Later I got a chance to see Brent Martineau interviewing John Osher of the O-Zone head writer for Jaguars.com.  I also took this time to shake his hand and tell him what a good job he is doing. I love all the new media on the web site. Like I said before us fans need to be fed and Jaguars.com is now doing it.

While standing in line waiting for the players to enter the field I accidently caught Shad Kahn on camera. Look fast he's at the very start of the video. Later he came back the same way and I got to shake his hamd and tell him he is doing good for us and Jacksonville. This time it was no accident I got his picture (at least from the chin down)  but I was more interested in looking him in the eye and shaking his hand.
You know I have been a photographer since way back in the Navy but these new fangled camera phones I'm not use to, at least that's my excuse.
Here is the O Line warm up  from the field they look like GIANTS.
The man of the hours. Meester.

The north end zone MY HOME today and next year.

and the game?  oh yes.....WE LOST AGAIN.

OH WHAT A NIGHT

Oh what a night it was, it really was!
Thursday Night Football and it brought back memories of when the Jags were a good team.
The most enjoyable game for quiet some time.

As well as all this and the Jags playing a great game.
I really had a good time. I also got to see some good friends that I use to sit behind for years. We always had a good time no matter what. They are nice people and I consider them friends and try to visit them every game.
This is Kevin and Gara (pronounced like Sara)

and some of the other folks that sit with them, who I also remember fondly.

These folks and a lot of others from section 122 are another reason I go to the games. It's a game but it's also a social events for some of us.

NEWS FLASH   JUST IN !!!!!

Ever the business man and progressive thinker (that be me)
Has come up with yet another earth shaking idea.
You know how you hate to carry stuff around the stadium while trying to just enjoy getting samples and people watching? Well Mr. Kahn who reads this blog.....You think he gets all these great ideas by himself?
Season ticket holders will have the first chance to add a LOCKER along with you ticket price and parking. I think somewhere around $10 per game or $100 per season.

Think of it no more worry about rain or cold or if you need sunscreen etc. Why think of it you could even keep your bathing suit in the locker.  Remember  the SWIMMING POOL IS COMING!

I will let Mr. Kahn think it was his idea, but we all know who is the real brains behind this franchise.

Here's how the lockers will look in some of the empty spots in the concourse.
APPLAUSE NOW.......THANK YOU

ENOUGH!

       I HAVE
SEEN ENOUGH
HEARD ENOUGH
HOPED ENOUGH
BEEN INSULTED AND EMBARRASSED ENOUGH.

THIS JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS TEAM DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH TALENT, TEAM WORK, TOGETHERNESS, SKILL AND WHAT EVER ELSE IT TAKES TO BE COMPETITIVE.

There is no answers, plans schemes or changes that could make this into an NFL team. Keep trying? What for ? They are losers and will be that......A JAGUAR CAN'T CHANGE IT'S SPOTS ...You know?

The only recourse I have like so many before me is to NOT RENEW my tickets. I hate to do this because i have been a season ticket holder for 13 years now. I guess my only option now is to not watch any of the coach or player interviews or watch anymore games on TV.  I will still go to the home games only so I can make my verbal comments heard by the actually players.  "Hey you guys stink"  Is this being a bad fan?  I don't think so. Is anyone else telling them they stink....no the coaches won't do it so it's left to me to let them know that THEY STINK  and

ARE WE THE DOLLAR STORE OF THE NFL?

NO PHOTOS, SOUNDS OR ANY OTHER DETAILS OF THE JAGUARS LOSS TO SAN DIEGO WILL BE SHOWN IN THIS POSTING....THEY ARE TOO GRUESOME.

Well what do we do now Ollie?  No one has an idea.  Remember how easy it was to blame the QB or the Head Coach, or even the owner?  Who in the heck do you blame with this kind of failure?  The fans I guess.

Well I'm not going to blame the fans, because if you are one (really) then you know how loyal we have been. We have been faithful to show up rain or shine and try hard to stay positive. We have been left down just too much in the past years.  I feel that I should get a rebate or something to show for my loyal attendance, Not me alone but all the others that come every Sunday; you know who you are.

The Northwest corner and End zone is where we rule. Ask any player or anyone else in the stadium. We Are the Jaguars. This Sunday the security people tried to eject one of our own and were told to leave. We will police our own country thank you very much.

One of the biggest complains that comes from US is season ticket holders selling their tickets on NFL or some place and not attending them selves. These seats always end up in the enemy's hands and this causes a lot of frustration.  What are we the Dollar Store of the NFL. Shame on Jacksonville spoiled residents. You have no idea how to support your hometown team.

I know that Mr. Kahn has said he wants to make this the hottest ticket in the NFL and that's fine but  , I would rather have it the hardest ticket in the NFL to purchase because the home town folks always fill the stadium.  Wouldn't that be grand?

The largest scoreboard in the World and swimming pools etc. will not fill this stadium like it should be filled.  A circus is more than just the tent.  There has to be attractions in the center ring...which is the field. What we have seen in the past years is not an attraction but a depressing sideshow that promise but does not deliver.

Come to the Side Show get free beer, see girls with short pants parading around. Sign up for prizes and get free samples. Get t-shirts, get a photo taken with cheerleaders. Free sun glasses , free fans, free sun screen. Come one come all the greatest show on..........what.  Once the pregame sideshows and free samples are over so is the experince.  Just give me a good game that leaves you feeling that it was played by professionals with emotion and pride.
Is that too much to ask?
One of these days I will go to the sideshow and a game will break out.....you think so?

NUTS & BOLTS

Gus Bradley is a "nuts & bolts" kind of guy and exactly what a auto parts owner would hire.  I really like Gus and he is just that a plain and simple approach to managing a factory or a team. My kind of "Blue Collar" guy who doesn't come up with gimmicks or far off motivational mubble jubble.

Have you watched or listened to any or his news conferences? If not you are missing something new and fresh in this area or coach speak.  He is very aware of every moving part every machine and it's condition. Whether it's a lathe, band saw or drill press he knows it's capabilities and how to get it to work in the production system.  It's all positive and no one gets thrown under the bus.

I predict that Gus will go on to be one of the best and most loved coaches in our fair city of Jacksonville Florida. He has a great mind for details and this will catch on with the players.

GO JAGS!
